Home visits are considered for those patients that are too ill to attend surgery. To request a home visit please contact the Surgery and give as much information as possible to the receptionist, this will be passed to the GP.
Your Responsibilities to us Are:
- Not to request home visits unless the patient is too ill to attend surgery.
- To ensure requests for home visits are made before 10.30 am in the morning, whenever possible.
- To confine requests for night visits for complaints that really cannot wait until the following day’s surgery.
- Not to expect a sick note or a repeat prescription during the home visit.
- Not to request repeat medication through OOH.
